OK. I read up on it and I am glad I did. It isn't all what I thought it was. It is only useful for whole numbers and where a whole number answer is expected. If I want to divide $1.50 by 3 then I'd better use wNum = 1.5 / 3; It looks to me like %div is best suited where one is really after %rem. For instance, in a day-of-week calculation
