This does lead to Jon's suggestion of a subprocedure, well-named.

The other point from Jon is why I didn't take time to work out exactly WHAT was being moved WHERE in some code when making changes - no time to really do that, so in they stay!

The only hint it gave Buck was that whenever you saw a MOVE
of _any_ flavor the only thing you knew for sure was that some
data moved somewhere.
I think Buck was getting at the fact that seeing MOVE is more of a
hint than seeing DIV, when the ultimate purpose is extracting a
portion of another field. Especially if the variables are already
named suggestively.

I don't think anyone is arguing that MOVE* is inherently self-documenting.
