Doug,
There were several good suggestions last week from Booth Martin, Douglas Englander and Trevor Briggs so you might look for those on Midrange.com - but I've not seen the exact solution you're asking about.

Subject: Subfiles and mouse

Does anyone know if I can create a subfile record that has a pushbutton or a choice field in it? I know I can have a subfile list with the familiar "Opt" column where a user can enter the various options a program could allow for each record in the subfile. For example, 2 for Edit, 5 for Display, etc. The option would be performed on each row.

What I want to do is to have one or two pushbutton fields on each row, and as my program reads through the subfile, it could read the pushbuttons fields, check if they are "clicked" and perform the requested function. Instead of using the "5=Display", I'd use the pushbuttons instead.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Doug
