Darren,
Today's Excel documents (files with extension .xlsx) are a bunch of XML
files that have been zipped together (and named .xlsx instead of .zip).
I do all of the XML work in RPG, but I call a separate utility
(currently using one written in C) to do the .ZIP part.

Scott. I'm curious as to what's possible. Did you do this with RPG, or
some other language?
