The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Anyone know how to suppress (or redirect) this message on the first call of an rpg program
that uses java, in an interactive job session?
"The java.version property was detected as input. This property is used as output only and has no effect on JVM initialization."
I've tried variants of the 2 methods outlined by Scott here -
http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/200910/msg00064.html
with no luck. Seems like it has no effect for the startup message.
Thanks for any help, ideas or suggestions.
John
