The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

We are creating some new files, err, tables using DDL. We created them
using ops nav.
Before we start using them, I would like to change one of the long names
into something a little more accurate. But there appears to be no
command to alter table, alter column that applies to the column name.
I can see where this is something that should only be done under special
circumstances.
Since this is a new table, I can use ops nav to created sql source
statements, delete the table, change the name in the source, and then
execute the source.
Is this the preferred method or is there a better way?
