The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

A couple of things not quite correct in what I said ...
Just bear in mind that when you pass a pointer by value, you can't
change the pointer to a different value, but you are not offered any
protection from changing the data to which the pointer points.
When you pass the pointer by value, you can change the value of the
pointer, but it's not reflected back to the caller.
Passing a pointer by value is no different from passing a variable
without CONST nor VALUE.
What is internally passed to called procedure is no different - a
pointer. How the procedure uses it is different (assuming that the
procedure treats the parameter approximately the same as caller is
treating it).
I should know better than to post before I had my morning Pepsi.
