I have only written a few interactive WORKSTN programs, and never one that
passes indicators to condition field output. I built a file maintenance
program that checks a master-file and if it doesn’t find a record turns on
an indicator to show the key value on the screen in reverse image. I used
Screen Design Aid to build the DSS specs.
The only problem is that the reverse image function is not working.

I ran the program in debug mode and verified that the indicator is on when
the EXFMT instruction executes. What am I missing? Is something else
needed either in the RPG code or the DDS code to process the indicator?
