Hi

I'm reading a line from an IBM created journal and I want to display the name of the file that was accessed.
I'm using this API, and getting the results I want when everything is ok.

D GetPathFID      PR              *   ExtProc('Qp0lGetPathFromFileID')
D buf                             *   Value
D size                          10U 0 Value
D fileid                        16A

D rc              s               *

c                   clear                   buffer          512

c                   eval      rc = GetPathFID(%ADDR(Buffer)
c                                  : %SIZE(Buffer)
c                                  : obj_fid  )

Sometimes I get no result with this API, and the Buffer is empty, and rc gets SPP:*NULL.
After doing some reading on the IBM site, I understand that this means there is an error, but how do I retrieve the error?

Thank you
Steff
