I had the same experience also with VARPG and Win7. It's now on my list
to convert the 2 VARPG programs that I have over to VB.Net.

VARPG will not work on a Windows 7 PC. When I upgraded my PC at work, I
was unable to install the development environment and none of the
applications I developed with it will install.

On the IBM i 6.1 Info Center I noticed VisualAge is apparently still
supported. I'm curious to know what kind of business solutions people
may be currently using this for. How does it compare/contrast with EGL
? My assumption is Visual Basic, C# and .Net would be a better set of
tools.
