Do you remember those S/38 printers that had a paper tape loop for the
line feed stops? Have you ever left the lid open on one of those and
then had a spool file do a line feed to a channel that didn't have a
hole in it? And watched a whole box-full of green-bar paper shoot across
the room in a graceful arc?
