Binding at runtime is done by use of APIs QleActBndPgm and QleGetExp and has multiple advantages over binding at Compiletime. The most important are:
- faster Activation by binding on demand
- possibility to rebind after RCLACTGRP
- no need for Binder language and no rebind after adding exports
- possibility to use an external configuration to customize a programm at startup
- enables usage of SRVPGMs as exit points
