All,
I have a program that uses the BNDDIR keyword as follows:
bnddir('QC2LE' : '*LIBL/XABNDDIR' : '*LIBL/INBNDDIR')
Service program XASRVPG is *only* specified in XABNDDIR.
There is another binding directory in the library list named FDXABNDDIR
that specifies service program FDXASRVPG which has all of the procedures
that XASRVPG has plus some additional, but that is *not* specified in the
program.
When I attempt to create the program using option 14 in PDM (CRTBNDRPG),
the compile ends abnormally with errors in the job log - Definition
supplied multiple times for symbol 'SP_CMP_CHG'.
Cause . . . . . : Definition SP_CMP_CHG was found to be exported from
both
*SRVPGM object XASRVPG in library *LIBL and *SRVPGM object FDXASRVPG
in
library
*LIBL.
My question is, since service program FDXASRVPG is not in any of the
binding directories that I specified in my program, why is the compiler
looking at it?
TIA
