This will be a web page.

Could be an RPG program, JSP or .Net app. I'm looking for best concept.

Basically just need to:
-Run SQL query
-Start at Page 1.
-Allow user to go next page, next page, next page, previous page, previous page, previous page all the way back to page 1 is desired for navigation.
-Don't need to know 1 of xx pages for this scanerio.
-Normally if data not found within a few pages user should refine search criteria anyway in my eyes.

Make sense ?

Richard,

What is the context for the question? Is the "consumer" of a page an RPG program, or are asking about an RPG program delivering pages to a remote client such as .Net? Do you need to "first", "last", in addition to "next", and "prior"? Do you need to display "Page n of n total"? Do you need an option to "Go to page ___"?
