Subject: Re: Aaron Bartell Email Utility

I remember, somewhere, a setting about the email size. On our system, it
was initially set ridiculously low. But, right now, I am drawing a blank on
where it is found. I did not think that intermediate hops were concerned
about the email size or the attachment size. But, the sender cares. For
example, my email address is now managed by Google (long story). I have not
checked for attachment size limit since Google was used to handle email.
But, before that happened, the maximum size was 2MB. One other account I
created on a free mail service has a 10MB limit. I think Google has no
limit - but I could be wrong. Once the email is started over the network,
the intermediate stops may segment the mail and reassemble it later, at
least from what I have seen.

It seems very likely that 15MB exceeds the maximum allowed size of
many or most ISPs for e-mail attachments.

You did not say what "error(s)" you are getting -- but I suspect you
are running into these typical limits imposed by most ISPs.

*NOTE:* this could be happening at your ISP or at the ISP of the
person to whom you are trying to send the e-mail attachment.

Perhaps you could just e-mail a link to where they can download the
large file from -- many free services, like "dropbox" let you do this.

I've successfully created a rather large excel spreadsheet using
Scott Klements POI utilities and sending it as an attachment and
using Aaron Bartell Email utility to do that.

The size of the email attachment is 14,931 KB.

Is there any issues that anyone knows of a size attachment
limitation on this email utility? Running in to a problem sending it.

Thanks
