RPGLE can do this using the Qp0lProcessSubtree API.
The API may look a bit scary to a novice.
QShell provides commands that can do this with a few lines of script

Subject: Delete IFS Folder and it's contents
Has anyone written a program to read an IFS folder and delete all the IFS objects including any sub-folders and their contents they would be willing to share? I would like to delete the IFS folder and everything underneath it.
