I assume that the display in program SC2 is a subfile and it has two parameters one for the passed item number and one for the returned value. There are keywords (I forget of the top of my head what they are but look in the DDS reference manual for cursor location) that you can us on the record format that will either give you the column & row of the cursor position or the actual field name from the display where that the cursor is sitting on. Once you have the location you should be able to retrieve the RRN of the subfile to get the value required to pass back to SC1.
Hope this helps

Good morning / afternoon:

I have a DSPF where I have a RECORD type of display (let's call it SC1). It display general item information. When I press a function key (F4), the program will call SC2 (type RECORD) and it will display 5 warehouse location records tied to the item in SC1. The requirement is to allow the user to scroll up and down that small list of records by using the arrow keys and highlighting the desired warehouse location and once is highlighted, the user will press ENTER to select it and return that value back to SC1.

I would like to see if there is any example that can be given where I can use a similar technique.

Thank you all in advance,
