I use this:
BegSr CTRVAR;
TextC = %Trim(Text);
Text = *Blanks;
Len = %Len(%trim(TextC));
Start = ((40 - Len) / 2) + 1;
%subst(Text:Start:Len) = %subst(TextC:1:Len);
I cannot take credit for this; it was a simple cut and paste.

It has been some time (since I last participated).
I remember there was a very small piece of code that worked for me and would allow me to center text on a specific field but or I am having trouble with my browser or I may not be using the right wording on my search.
Can anybody guide me to the links of these solutions? I will really appreciate it.
