Look for "program status data structure" in your RPG III manual - it's
there. It's in the chapter about error handling.

Or if you have the PDF, just search for "*PROGRAM" - it will be there.

Maybe we've been down this road before, but I have to ask - is there a
reason you cannot convert the program to RPG IV? With CVTRPGSRC?
