Okay - unless I am missing something, any reason why you cannot use the command CPYFRMIMPF?

Subject: Need routine to parse a CSV file with double quotes for character fields
I have a CSV file that uses the double quote to bracket all character fields, with the comma to separate each field.
I need to be able to parse this record to retreive the data between the double quotes as one complete field.
This data may contain embedded commas.
Does anyone have some sample code that I can use as a base?
Thanks,
