There are also times when one wants to write the control without wanting to
display either the control or the subfile, as when one is initializing the
subfile.

You can create a control record with no displayable elements at all if you
like. Only define the control keywords and any hidden fields. You will
still need to write the control format to the display file, but there
doesn't have to be anything to display.

What is the use of SFLDSPCTL, can I display a subfile without the control
record format values, example is it possible to dislpay the subfile without
the Main heading and the subfile fields heading which I have coded in the
control record format?
