Yeah, Jon - the compilation does take place in PASE - but it is started with the usual CRT* commands.

Seems to me there was something about the old Visual Age C/C++ editor that would be nice to have.

And I for one would like to have some of the special pragmas known in the editor - a straight text editor, which can be done, just doesn't do that.

Of course, if I'm writing in C, I'm not supPOSED to get any help from the editor, am i?

The AIX/LINUX side of things did get a C/C++ perspective recently - I just want one for us, too!

Don't you have to compile C++ in PACE anyway Vern? In which case won't the Linux/AIX C++ components work for you?

Now to get a C/C++ editor for IBM i in RDP - maybe I should put in an RFE!
