Noob SQL Help

I'm trying to learn SQLRPG and am struggling with syntax and concepts.



I've been able to do a SELECT of multiple records with a cursor following
examples on the web.



Within the select loop, how can I fetch one row from another file?



This is the beginning of my "loop"



EXEC SQL

Declare C1 Cursor for

Select rnRule from shprules as t

where rnShipper = :svShipper;



how can I use rnRule to fetch a description from table rules?
