Try using EVAL %LOCALVARS to show all the variables in the program which, I believe, also includes displaying passed in parameters.

You can use EVAL data_structure to show all variables in that data structure.

If you have the source code you could also add a DUMP opcode at that point. After running the program to product the DUMP listing you can then search the spool file looking for an order number.

One of the staff programmers asked me if there is a feature in DEBUG which
will show the value of all fields read to a point? The software product
is very cryptic and he's trying to look for a field which might contain
something resembling an order number. The fields names provide no clue.
This system uses lots of large parms feeding data structures and the order
number could be hiding anywhere.



I don't know personally so I pose the question to you.
