Subject: Keeping Comments In SDA
Greetings from the sunny south.
In writing screens for my RPG programs, I have encountered a problem and
ask for your guidance.
In the top section of the DDS code I include comments with program
information, modifications logs and documentation the indicator usage:
* *In75 - PC, RI On Color 10 Field, RI On Size 10 Field
* *In76 - PC, RI On Color 11 Field, RI On Size 11 Field
* *In77 - PC, RI On Color 12 Field, RI On Size 12 Field
*=========================================================================
* Modification History:
*=========================================================================
* Mod Proj# Int Date Desc
* ----- ----- --- ----------
-----------------------------------------
* M001 5291 RwM 07/27/2011 Expand To Two Screens
**************************************************************************
A DSPSIZ(24 80 *DS3)
A CA03(03 'F3=Exit')
A CF04(04 'F4=Prompt')
A CA05(05 'F5=Refresh')
When I go into SDA to make a screen modification and exit, many of my
comments vanish. Is there a limit to the number of comments in SDA or is
there some protocol I need to use to retain my comments?
