The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I know this is a basic subfile question, but I can't remember how to fix it.
I have a skeleton program I use for all of my subfile programs

https://gist.github.com/1070421) and the problem I always have is
that if I had something on the subfile then the item(s) are all
removed (so have a blank subfile), I still see the item(s) on the list
(though they can't be selected). I know I have searched in the past
for the solution, but couldn't find the solution. This time with my
next subfile program, I am determined to fix that bug. I thought I
have to do something with a blank record, but I don't remember exactly
what needed to be done.
Maybe the 6-day weekend is screwing with my mind...
