I have an SQL Table created with "commit *none".
When the RPGLE that uses the table is called it fails when it tries

Message given: CPF4326 "Commitment definition &6 not valid for open

I understand getting this message with poor activation group
planning, bad scope, etc. but never had this issue.

Nothing given in the quoted message suggests there is anything other
than what is claimed already to be understood.? The combination of
open, open scope, commit, and activation group processing seems to be
amiss in conjunction. To be sure, the commit level is not an attribute
of the table, but instead an attribute of the active statement; in other
words, that the TABLE was created with COMMIT=*NONE does not necessarily
suggest an origin for a problem diagnosed by that error. Look for the
usual suspects for when "getting this message".
