I wonder if this is a RPG related problem. I've a RPG program that uses
Scott's JDBCR4 to perform access to Oracle database. I've set the JAVA_HOME
as below in the *INZSR:

Display Environment Var (*JOB)

Name . . . . . . . . . : JAVA_HOME

Value . . . . . . . . . : '/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk50/32bit'

But in the joblog, I'm still seeing Classic version being used:
CALL BLMLDISRP
Environment to be set to MCBELL4.
Environment variable added.
CLASSPATH = /javaapps/staging/sharedResources/resources/jar/ojdbc14.jar.
Environment variable added.
JAVA_HOME = /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk50/32bit.
Java Virtual Machine is Classic.
JVM properties were loaded from a properties file.

hhhmmmm.

Is this the first Java invocation of the job? The JVM can only be
started once per job, I think.
