RE: Week of the year routine

Jerry,

 This is an artificial week assignment, not related to the official 
standards.  As I mentioned, in 2011, Jan 1 was Saturday.  That day 
would be assigned week 1.  Week 2 would start the following day, on Sunday.

 I think I've worked it out - easier that I initially thought.  Just 
by starting Jan 1 as week 1, incrementing the week each Sunday 
throughout the year would do the trick.
