I've been playing Role-Playing Games since 1978 (that's 33 years), and they've been around longer than that. While Role-Playing Games might be slightly newer than RPG, they're not _much_ newer.

As someone who both plays RPGs and codes in RPG, I have to say this: Not once, have I had a problem with the terms getting mixed up. Even by Google.

Thank you for not calling it "Armadingdong."
