The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Thanks for the explanations, everyone! I always wondered, and figured
that this would be the best place to get a real answer. I see the
backwards-compatibility point, and that makes good sense to me. Sadly,
I see this opcode in new programs (on V6R1) as well nowadays... Oh,
well...not in any of mine at least! ;)
