proc1 & proc2 are just made up procedures in attempt to simplify my
question. I couldn't quite understand your question. So, I'm going to just
show you prototypes of the real proc1 (emlSendEmailByEmailMsgFile) and proc2
(emlSendEmailToRecipientsByEmailMsgFile) procedures. They both are exported
procedures. The 2nd parameter is the one different between the two. Can
