We have logic in the subfile load subroutine to check if you loaded any records (RRN=0).
We usually then write one subfile record. If there is a description, you can put in that field 'No Data', or something like that.
Clear out the remaining fields.
I have also seen where you throw up a generic screen that has 'No Data', and not display the subfile at all.
