1) When using DDS to print PDF417, does the data to be barcoded have to
be prepared (compacted and the start and stop codewords error correction
etc.) in advance
Don't see how that can be done by simply specifying a few parms with the
barcode keyword
Reading through the PDF417 specifications it looks a bit overwhelming all
that it takes to prepare the data (text compaction, numeric compaction error
checking etc.)
2) If I cannot use DDS (or choose to not use it) to do the PDF417 bar
code, has anyone managed to get PDF417 to print using another method?
Example: Using Soft Font (PCL) I see IDAutmation sells one
Or java library
Or something else?
