The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
If this really is the only change then you do indeed have double
definition. You have the version in the externally described DS and
another in the overlay/array version.
Reason it works with the F-spec is that the compiler is quite happy to
let you tell it where in memory to store the automatically defined
input fields and so it uses the ones you provided in the array DS.
When you add the EDS you are creating a new set of fields with the
same field names.
Just do the overlay of the array against the EDS if the fields are
contiguous. If they are not then you will have to use QUALIFIED on one
of the two DS and then use EVAL-CORR to copy the data.
