If it's an ILE program, you can run dsppgm and look at the module
attributes to see the location and last source change date and time for
comparison with the source you now have. (From memory, can't check right
now.) Hit enter until you come to the module list panel, then option 5
to display the attributes.

I vaguely remember a similar capability with OPM programs, but haven't
dealt with that for quite a while, so not sure.
