The line would already be in error. The assignment has failed and the condition handler has been called.

I would put a breakpoint on the line after this line, tell the condition handler to continue and then fix up the data post-facto.

My reasoning is that I am now on the line after and I have fixed the data and manually performed the assignment. Everything is as if the assignment worked.
Of course, this is very, very rarely done. I was mainly expounding the fact that condition handlers stop everything at the point of error and remedial work can be performed, if needed and if safe.
