No, don't call the browser .exe. I use rundll32. This tells the PC to
use whatever the default browser is on the PC. That way, the users can
use whatever browser they want. Here is an example.
STRPCCMD PCCMD('rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler
http://myserver:89/web/inquiry.php') PAUSE(*NO)
One limitation is the PCCMD parameter is limited to 132 characters, so you
need to make sure your url does not exceed 95 characters. And of course
this version only works for windows. If you are a Linux or Mac shop, you
will need to adjust the method accordingly.
