I don't think you can get it in the same insert, but there is a system
variable that contains the last auto-generated value. Please check old
questions, you will find it.

Good moorning to everyone.
My question is :
Is possible retrieve the value of an auto increment field generated after an
INSERT SQL in the same command ?

I need something like INSERT INTO TSTTABLE VALUES (DEFAULT) RETURNING ID;

Where ID is the value of the auto genereted file .

Thanks to all .

Stefano
