I don't believe POI does this for you.

You can write VB coding to do this yourself after the spreadsheet is
converted, but it requires a PC.

If you really need to do something like this directly from RPG, the
RPG2Excel functionality in our RPG2SQL Integrator product can probably
help with this.

In your scenario you could have a template pre-built with all the
VBScript needed or you could tweak it at runtime.
