RE: [SPAM 1]showing message sent from a clp -- RPG400-L

I'm having a problem getting a completion message to show, and I'm not
even sure if what I'm trying to do is possible, so here goes.

RPG1 shows a subfile. Option 1 choice calls RPG2.
RPG2 diplays a window on top of the subfile. The user validates
window and CLP1 is called.
CLP1 submits a job and does SNDPGMMSG 'job submitted'
Control is returned to RPG2 which returns directly to RPG1
which recharges and diplays the same subfile.

Can I show the message from CLP1 when RPG1 shows the subfile? How? The
screen overlayed by the subfile has a field for error messages on line
24.
I presume that if it is possible, I need to move it up a line.

This has been discussed a thousand times on this list. Most recent was this
month, I believe. Search the archives for QMHSNDPM. Hint: the message
needs to be sent to its caller, or to some queue the caller will watch for
messages.
