Hi All,

We found the solution for this internally. API is working fine
and it is not giving error when it is not capable of fitting the value
into receiver variable.

Problem is coming in cases where it is trying to pull the
variable value whose size is greater than the Receiver Bucket allocated
to the API (Similar to our Journal Image Retrieval). In these cases, it
is not able to fetch the value there by continuation handle is still
active. Now by providing the Receiver Bucket size of 16MB resolved the
issue.
16MB means 16,773,104bytes not 16,000,000bytes.

Thank you all of you... It is very good learning for me.

Thanks Dennis.

You're welcome.

Please Help in taking up this issue to IBM for fixing.

Please use your normal support channels. I am not in a position to
chase
down the cause of problems that others are experiencing, for several
reasons. One is that both the client I work with and the off-hours
system I
use for personal effort are on an unsupported release (V5R3). Anyway I
wouldn't use the client resources for this if they were above V5R3.

You seem to have a multitude of issues with these particular APIs and I
believe you would do well to get your support provider in line on this.
But
I must say that most of the present challenges you've presented are
intriguing.
