There has been some discussion about IBM packaging open access as a
separate product. That's to say, separate from the RPG Compiler. I don't
understand the rationale behind that. Everything I've read about it makes
it technically appear to be a compiler feature.

Maybe the separate packaging is for marketing & pricing distinction
(confusion). Will it be released as a compiler PTF, or a new product
feature?

Anyway, I seem to recall April 23 rumored as an availability date.
