Seeing the RPGDOC announce reminded me that we have a similar offering
written by Paul Tuohy available on the System i Developer web site (http://www.systemideveloper.com/downloadRPGLEDOC.html
). You can find an on-line demo linked from this page.
The difference between Paul's system and others it that the analysis
engine focusses purely on extracting the data from the source and
building a complete database from it. This database can be searched
any way you like to help provide what use/ where used type information
and much more besides. Two sample display swystems are provided - one
in RPG using CGIDEV2 and the other using PHP. They are intended to
provide a framework for developing your own display/print/query modules.
Heck you could build an RDP plugin or even (shudder) a green screen
interface if you have to.
