In the actual 5250 data stream, turquoise, yellow, pink, and blue are all overloaded onto column separators. Pink and blue are also overloaded onto blinking. To wit:

CS -> TRQ
CS+HI -> YLW
CS+BL -> PNK
CS+BL+HI -> BLU

Pink and blue both suppress both blink and column separators on all color terminals and emulators configured as color terminals.

Turquoise and yellow always show column separators on 3477-FC and earlier color terminals. Color models in the InfoWindow II (3487, 3488, 3489) series have a setting that suppresses column separators, as do many (but NOT all) emulators.
