Tom,

Just follows Scott's examples. It worked just fine for me.

What I have going is Accounting drops an excel file into an IFS
directory, and my program picks up the file, read and err check the file
and return it to the user via email. Once the users were experienced, I
have had no problems in 4 months of operation.

subject: Populating cells in an existing EXCEL spreadsheet.

I do know that Scott Klement has written code to write to an excel
spreadsheet via an RPG program.

I want to populate an existing spreadsheet's cells with totals that are
being created by an RPG program.

Should I still use Scott's program? I am looking for the easiest way.
Thanks.
