The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I have a subfile with some windows that pop up via a function
key. The windows overlay the subfile panel nicely.
I've added an automatic refresh option for the subfile. I
accomplished this via an OVRFDSPF WAITRCD(xx). The user has the
ability to turn the auto-refresh feature on and off and to change the
time out value. In order to do that, the DSPF must be closed, the
override changed or removed and the DSPF opened. I also disable the
time out when any window is displayed.
The issue I'm having is that when the auto refresh is on and a
window is displayed, the background screen blanks out. Is it
possible to retain the original screen background, even though the
DSPF has been closed and opened?
There is a dummy format with ASSUME KEEP and all window formats
have OVERLAY specified. Compiled with RSTDSP(*YES).
TIA.
