You mean like
exec sql values week(current date) into :weekNbr;
or
exec sql values week_iso(current date) into :isoWeekNbr;

exec sql values week('2010-03-01') - week(current date) into :weekSpread;

iso rule is that week 1 must have a Thursday. First day of week is Sunday
on week, Monday on week_iso.
values week('2010-01-01') = 1
values week_iso('2010-01-01') = 53
values week('2010-01-03') = 2
values week_iso('2010-01-03')=53
values week('2010-01-04') = 2
values week_iso('2010-01-04') = 1
values week('2010-12-31') = 53
values week_iso('2010-12-31') = 52
values dayofweek('2010-01-03') = 1
values dayofweek_iso('2010-01-03') = 7
