Procedures within procedures?

Hello,

I was trying to convert a program to a module for a service program and I am having problems with multiple procedures withing the main procedure I want in the service program. What I am getting is a ton of things not defined.
Can a procedure call other procedures (like in other service programs)? If so, how do I setup the copy files for the prototypes of the other procedures?

Example: The module I want to include in a service program will get some file description info from an API. Within this module, I want to process some additional local procedures (with local prototypes) and some procedures that reside in other service programs using prototypes from /copys.

Can this be done?
