Hi,
%LOOKUPxx won't work with array data structures. You either have to loop
through the array data structure or define your Array structure differently
or AFAIK you also can use an API.
If you define your data structure as follows, %Lookup can be used.
D MyDSArray DS Qualified
D Array Dim(100)
D Text 100 Overlay(Array)
D Name 30 Overlay(Array: *Next)

MyDSArray DS DIM (100) QUALIFIED
Text 100
Name 30
Either text or Name may be blank for each element.
I have to know if at least one name is non blank.
If so, I have to get the list of all unique values
for Name.
Not sure I understand but I might use %LOOKUPGT to find the nonblank name,
then %LOOKUP matches.
Does that help?
